  • Work includes: Contributed to development of a 7N and 10N monopropellant thruster for a 1km-range sounding rocket to be launched from the department’s own launchpad, under the mentorship of our Esteemed P-I-P Dr. Arunkumar Sir.

  • Work included: Performed hot-gas trials on a custom-made swirl-stabilized and axial-injection based Liquid-Rocket-Engine at our Department’s Liquid-Rocket-TestFiring Facility and got 7.6 % increase in Isp and close to 12 % increase in C*-efficiency

• Winter 2021-Spring 2022: Project Associate

  • Duties included: Simulated evaporative multi-phase flow environments using OpenFOAM’s interPhaseChangeFoam solver for the booster stage of ISRO’s Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV). Project carried out in direct collaboration with ISRO as the end client. Developed numerical flow algorithms for pressure-tank and viscous-fluid-tank modelling and integrated a full-fledged MATLAB-based iterative routines for transient thermal analysis of temperature sensor arrays.
